Merchandise Ordered For You

You may order merchandise we do not carry or have in warehouse stock. Sinc this merchandise is ordered or reserved specifically for you, cancellations can not be accepted. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required on all merchandise orders. (Orders for parts or custom products require a 100% non-refundable deposit.)

Delivery time quoted is approximate and based on our experience with the manufacturer. It is not a commitment or guarantee on our part. Quoted times are usually liberal and often orders arrive ahead of schedule. However, delays do occur occasionally due to busy seasons, production delays, transportation delays or shortage of materials. These delays are unpredictable and every effort is made to reduce the delay as much as possible.

Layaways

With a 20% deposit, Don’s Furniture will hold you order up to 30 days. The balance is due upon receipt of the merchandise. A storage fee of $5 per week will be charged for any merchandise held over 30 days.

Exchanges and Returns

All exchanges and returns must be authorized by Don’s Furniture and are subject to specific policies. Items such as bedding, layaway items, “as is” items or items that were ordered for you, may not be returned. All authorized returns must be accompanied by original sales receipt. Fabric treatment can not be refunded after its applied to an item being returned.

It’s the customer’s responsibility to pay delivery, handling and a 15% restocking charge before the item will be accepted for exchange or return.

Deliveries

When your purchase is delivered to you, you will be asked to inspect the merchandise on arrival and sign that you received it in good condition.

Our delivery team will place the merchandise where you request. We ask that you have the room ready when the truck arrives. The delivery personnel are not allowed to move any other furniture in your home.

We schedule our deliveries by location and route them in the most efficient pattern. It is very important that you be home when our drivers arrive. If you are not home when our drivers arrive, an additional delivery charge will be added.

Customer Pick-ups

If you wish to maximize your savings by picking up you purchase, a few helpful hints are in order.

Our furniture professionals are always on had during pick-up hours to assist you in the loading of your order, but Don’s Furniture can not be responsible for merchandise once it has left our premises in good condition. We ask that you bring adequate blankets, padding and ropes. If needed, twine is available.

Warranty

We are pleased to honor the manufacturers written warranties on all products. Every effort will be made to take care of any warranty issues in a timely and professional manner. Please contact us if you have any warranty claims. All warranty claims must be accompanied by original sales receipt.

Warranty Does Not Apply When

The claim is not covered in the manufacturers written warranty.

Any claim is the result of negligence, misuse, alteration, improper cleaning or care, accidents or normal wear.

The claim concerns wearing qualities, colorfastness, fading, shrinkage or wrinkling of upholstery fabrics.

The product is purchased for commercial use.

To Make a Claim

When it is necessary to return an item for inspection or warranty service, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide transportation of that item to and from Don’s Furniture. Don’s Furniture, in it’s sole discretion, will determine the cause and nature of the defect, the necessity and manner of repair or replacement and all other matters pertaining to the condition of the product. This warranty give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
